ANATOMY OF A LEADER

posted 1 year ago

A teacher is a leader. I am a teacher. Am I a teacher?

A leader is made up of different parts that move as one. To be truly effective, the leader must optimize the use of all thses parts. When any or some of these parts become dysfunctional, the leader ceases to lead. Here is the anatomy of a leader (from Anatomy of a Leader by Carmel G. Castillo, PMAP Newsletter, September )

1. EYES. The leader must have a vision. He must be adept at looking towards the future and anticipating what might be. Through the plan he makes, a good leader can determine whether he succeed or not. See the success in your hands!

2. EARS. The leader must listen. He must be open to suggestions, feedback and should give his constituencies the chance to share their views. By listening, the leader brings out the best in others and has a wider perspective of iisues. Hear the cries anf the laughter.

3. NOSE. The leader must be “nosey”. He must have a nose for news, good or bad, to knoe exactly what is happening in the organization and around him. By being nosey, the leader is more in touch with reality and can make better decisions. Smell the environs and see whether you smell.

4. TONGUE. The leader must communicate. He must know how to make directives, guidance, intructions and other information to people around him. By using his tongue properly, he empowers, informs and moves people. Taste the motivation or discouragement that your words can make!

5. HEART. The leader must be be sincere. He must have the greater good of the majority at heart at all times. By using the heart, his decisions will be tempered with love, kindness and compassion. Let your heart beat for those you serve.

6. HANDS. the leader must work. He must not just command but lead others in doing. By using his own hands, he inspires others to do the same therby making work little lighter. Work your way to your contituencies’ heart.

7. FEET. The leader must be agile. He does not stay in his ivory tower, but go where action is. By being where the people are, he knows first hand what is happening and his presence inspires others to contribute. Run to where the people need you.

8. HEAD. The leader must think. His job is to make decisions, and usually the people delegate to him the more difficult problems. By using his head, he can be objective in looking at the problems and solving them. Think what you can do so that others may live!

9. SKIN. The leader is sentitive to others. He must undestand the feelings, needs, dreams and aspirations of the people. By being sensitive to others, he considers their plight in his decisions and actions. Feel the pulse of the people.

IF YOU WANT TO BE A LEADER, YOU MUST HAVE ALL THE APRTS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION. MAINTAIN A HEALTHY LIFE AND PUT TO PROPER USE ALL THESE PARTS. YOU CAN NEVER BE PARTLY AS A LEADER!

PAGBUTI o PAGBOTO

posted 1 year ago

Hindi sumisikat ang araw. Di lumulubog sa takipsilim.

Umiikot lang ang mundo. Kasama sa pagpihit ang tao.

Hindi lumalayo ang araw. Hindi nagtatago. Di nagtatampo.

Umiinog lang ang mundo. Ang tao ang lumalayo.

Hindi lang ang kabiyak ng mundo. Di umiidlip. Di pumipikit.

Dumidilim lang ang kabiyak ng mundo. Pinahihimlay ang tao.

Hindi nanlalamig ang araw. Di nawawalan ng init.

Tumatagilid lang ang mundo. Panahon ang nagbabago.

Nananalig ako sa araw. Di ito natitinag.

Di ito napapagod. Di lumilisan. Di lumiliban.

Lagi itong nakamulagat, sumisinag, nagbibigay ng liwanag.

Init nito’y tila pag-ibig, biyayang dulot ng langit.

Pag-ibig Niya’y araw-araw.

Tuwi-tuwina.

KAILAN BA?

posted 1 year ago

MAAARI BA?

posted 1 year ago

Pwede bang umiyak pag sobrang nasasaktan ka na?

Pwede bang maging masaya kahit nalulungkot ka?

Paano ba maging maligaya kung hindi naman

kayang labanan ang bugso ng damdamin?

PAANO NGA BA?

posted 1 year ago

The sun never sets in the west and the tide never stays high.

CIUDAD

At bigla kang nawala.

Paalam, Pag-ibig, Paalam.

Nakaalis ka na.

Walang iniwang bakas.

Umiikot ang siyudad:

parang gilingan na dinudurog ang lahat!
